Were You Born With Glitter in Your Veins?

Were You Born With Glitter in Your Veins? Are you a sparkly, glittery kind of gal? I think I have it in my veins because I love to add glitter to my DIY Craft projects.  When I get in the glittery mood, everybody in my house ends up wearing it. You know that moment when you look at your children, husband, and even your pets and everybody is sparkling.  Have you ever gone out and people ask you what is that in your hair, hands, clothes, etc.?  I have and no matter how much I clean it off it sticks to me. I believe I was born with glitter in my veins and today I have a project to share with you that is going to have you playing with glitter, too. Let’s have some fun today!!!

Glass Glitter

Dazzling Diva Design Team Member Lee-Anne Cross created this beautiful card for Dazzling Diva Challenge #65. This week our challenge is to use on or all of the following colors: Pucker Me Pink, Princess Pink, or Golden Glimmer Craft Metal Sheet in

Lee-Anne did an amazing job creating this card and one thing that really stood out to me was the glitter she added to the flower.  She used Stampendous’ Fuschia Glass Glitter on the Pucker Me Pink Craft Metal Sheet flowers.  This glass glitter is quite chunky and shows up nicely and compliments the craft metal sheet beautifully.  In addition, it is easy to attach to the craft metal sheet with Glossy Accents. If you want to attach it to a more defined area, you can use our 1/4″ 60 yard Red Liner Adhesive Tape

What an amazing job Lee-Anne did in creating this card!! I am so honored to have her as a Dazzling Diva Design Team Member.

When adding the Glass Glitter to the flower, her idea was to give the illusion of shading.  Honestly, it looks amazing on the flower and really adds a touch of elegance to the flower. This crushed glass glitter won’t tarnish or fade, so your project will stay looking just as you made it, year after year. You can apply it to any adhesive and it will stick and shine beautifully.  This would look beautiful on some 3d flowers for Mother’s Day!!!

Adding glitter is just one of the many things you can do with Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets. As you can see from this card, you can die cut and even emboss to name a few. There is really no limit how you can use them and they really add a beautiful look to all your DIY Craft Ideas.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced crafter, you will love working with 0ur craft metal sheets. Need more inspiration? Check out Dazzling Diva Challenge #65 and submit your dazzling creation for a chance to win a prize pack.

  1. I just saw this AMAZING card on Splitcoaststampers and followed it to Lee-Anne’s blog and then to this site. I am SO impressed with Lee-Anne’s artistry, you are indeed BLESSED to have such a talented artist on your design team! This is GORGEOUS!!!

I DID take advantage of the offer to try some of your sheets, but my address was not asked for after the paypal portion went through. Was that a mistake, I was a little startled by this, and just wanted to check…

I have never heard of these sheets, they are certainly beautiful and they intrigue me. But I do want to find out more…

It was definitely THIS CARD that drew me in, I love sparkly in my crafting projects, but it needs to be done in an elegant manner, and this certainly fits my requirement, it’s very elegant and I’d be proud to be able to create something like this for a card. The artistry in this card is really quite amazing! I just needed to leave a note to express just how much I am impressed by Lee-Anne’s artistry. Until last night, I had never seen a card made using your metal sheets, nor had I seen any of Lee-Anne’s cards or other projects she might create with these sheets.

I look forward to learning more on this blog.

    Best wishes,

    Joanne Lowe

  2. I love glitter and I love the way Lee-Anne pair the Fuchsia glitter with the Pucker Me Pink metal sheet! This was my favorite project for DDC#65.
