The Unexpected

Do you love making cards for friends and family?  The truth is I do too but I don’t have a stash ready to go.  I hate the feeling of being unprepared! You know that moment when you realize you forgot someone’s birthday or anniversary.  Honestly, I feel horrible and when I do remember I am slammed busy with work, the kids, and everyday living.

How about when the unexpected happens?  A death or sickness comes and you have nothing ready to go.  Furthermore, your mojo is gone and you feel overwhelmed.   I have had that happen more times than I can count and I feel guilty.

Where Does Inspiration Come From?

This is a common question I am asked.  Inspiration can come from anything you like. It can be a color, image, smell, and locations to name a few.  There are times when inspiration just flows smoothly and other times when I get stuck.

The inspiration for this card came from Dazzling Diva Challenge #14 VIEW HERE.  This was a color challenge and so I focused on that to come up with this card.  I have to be honest with you as I struggled with this inspirational photo but I gave it a shot and I like the results.
