Today I would like to share an ornament I created for Day 2 of the blog hop. I love snowflakes and so when Avery Elle released the Noel Elle-ments Die I knew this was a die I wanted in my collection. Not only is there a die, but there is also a coordinating stamp set.
Every year we love to make handmade ornaments with the kids and so I have to make sure whatever we make is safe for all my children to make (including my 3 year old). Last year my 3 year old discovered you could put your finger in the opening of the ornaments and decided she needed an ornament on each finger. She ended up cutting her little fingers. Glass ornaments are banned from our home until she is older. The sad part is bleeding little fingers didn’t stop her from continuing to put her fingers in the holes.
To create this snowflake, I simply used the back side of a piece of Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheet, placed the the Snowflake Die on top, and ran it through the Big Shot. Just to make sure all the intricate pieces came out I went through it twice. Then, I placed the snowflake on a foam mat and poked out the pieces with a piercing tool. Stay tuned as I will teach you how I made this ornament in a video on Saturday.
Keren Baker created this fun card. She loves creating cards with intricate pieces and so this is completely her style. You can’t see it in this card but the little bird pops out and the lens of the camera does, too. It’s really cool. You can check out the close up on her blog.
Images of Polaroid cameras are very trendy right now and so using Smile Clear Stamps was perfect for this card. The colors in this card are beautiful and bold. Did you notice that Keren used the aluminum side of Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets? I love it! Did you know that Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets have color on one side and aluminum on the other?
Please make sure to stop by Keren’s blog to see a close up of this card and to show her some love with a comment. This will be your entry for a chance to win a special prize pack.
Lydia Evans created these super fun surfer cards that are Clean and Simple. I love the clean look of these cards accompanied by Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets. Clean and Simple is very trendy right now and Lydia showed us how you can use craft metal sheets in a very trendy way.
Surf’s Up Clear Stamp is definitely a fun stamp set to work with. I think this is definitely a fun set for a teenager or somebody who loves to surf. I can see changing this up and using it as a Christmas Card for a surfer or from a surfer. I have asked Lydia to give it a try. Can’t wait to see what she comes up with.
Lydia added color to these vans using the following Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets: Pucker Me Pink, Lovely Lavender, Baby Blue, and Perfect Peacock.
What a creative way to use the Avery Elle Stamps and Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets! Make sure to stop by Lydia’s Blog and leave her a comment. This will enter you into our giveaway this week.
Lee-Anne Cross created this beautiful winter card that just warms my heart. I love the Avery Elle sentiments and die and how she kept the calmness in the card with the shades of blue.
To create this card, Lee-Anne used the Simply Said Love Stamp and Die. This stamp set and die are amazing because it comes with over a dozen sentiments the perfectly coordinate with this one die that has the word LOVE. Avery Elle has more sets such as this one and it is a great way to get a lot more bang for your buck.
In order to keep with the feel of the sentiment, Lee- Anne embossed the Baby Blue Craft Metal Sheet . Did you know that you can emboss Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets with Embossing Folders? This is just one of the many things you can do with our craft metal sheets.
Make sure to stop by Lee-Anne’s Blog and leave her a comment about her card. This will enter you into our giveaway this week.

WOW~! All of the designers have done an amazing job! I love your ornament and Lydia’s cards hit home. My 18 yo nephew is traveling cross country in a van just like this. I am going to get the goodies to make some of these for him to be able to write home. I will include stamps and self addressed envelopes so all he has to do is write a little note and drop them in the post box! His parents will be glad if he actually does this so they know where he is and how he is doing.
Lee-Ann’s card is amazing!! LOVE the richness and elegance that the metal adds to this beauty!
Looking forward to the rest of the week! See you tomorrow!
