Hearts Framelits Embossed Metal Mini Card

Hearts Framelits Embossed Metal Mini Card is an easy card to mass produce.  Mini Cards are actually one of my favorite kind of cards to create as they are so easy and fun to put together in a matter of minutes.   There are so many new products from the Mini Occasions Catalog showcased in this card and today I will teach you how I brought it all together in this embossed metal mini card.

Hearts Framelits Embossed Metal Mini CardToday I would like to share with you Hearts Framelits Embossed Metal Mini Card.  To create this card I used the Hearts Framelits from Stampin’ Up!  Using this framelit allowed me to place the heart exactly where I wanted it.  I love that framelits are able to easily cut through embossed metal. Then, you can emboss it with the Impressions Folder of your choice quickly.

When working with embossed metal, you will find that Sticky Strip is your best friend.  Whatever color of Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheet you choose to use, all of them require you to adhere it with Sticky Strip.  For this Hearts Framelits Embossed Metal Mini Card I used Add a Little Dazzle Scarlet Red Craft Metal Sheet

I wanted to create a perfect image to add to the center of the heart and so I purchased the P.S. I Love You Digital Brush Stamp Set (#127186).  After I downloaded it, I re-sized the heart image, added some color, and printed it on Add a Little Dazzle Transparency Adhesive Film.  I found this to be the perfect solution to avoid having to measure, cut, remeasure, re-cut just to get a perfect 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of card stock while making sure that the heart was perfectly centered in the opening so that I could attach it to the inside of the mini card.  Printing the heart on Add a Little Dazzle Transparency Adhesive Film saved me lots of time of frustration.
