Running Out of Time! I know we have all been busy with Thanksgiving and shopping this weekend. By now, relatives have left and you are back in the comfort of your home. Now the first rush is over, it is time to get back to doing what you love. Time Is Running Out! Great news is you still have time. You must read this as time runs out at 11:55 pm!
Thanksgiving Week
If your last week was anything like mine, you were busy running around getting everything ready for Thanksgiving. You were busy cooking, cleaning house, and entertaining family and friends. Although we all love doing that, I know it can also be a stressful time.
One important thing to remember is that in the midst of all the hecticness we must take time to breathe and make time for ourselves. The truth is that if we don’t make time for us we will stress out and not be productive like we can be.
It is easy for the holiday season to leave us exhausted and sometimes even wishing it would just skip the calendar this year. The great news is that it doesn’t have to be that way.
Plan Your Time
Planning your time is the most important thing that will help us stay sane during this crazy time of year. Sometimes it requires choosing to let some activities go to keep your sanity. I know that guilt can kick in, but the truth is that if we don’t take care of ourselves nobody else will do it for us.
Have you made time for YOU this week? Have you made time to do what you LOVE to do? There is no need to feel guilty. When we take time for ourselves it is therapeutic and helps us to function better for ourselves and family.
