Peppermint Foot Soak Gift
Peppermint Foot Soak Gift. We are in Day #2 of the Fancy Pants Blog Hop and we are having so much fun. Yesterday, I shared a fun box holder for a homemade Peppermint Foot Soak and I am excited to share this recipe with you today. This recipe is very easy and is amazing. Your feet will feel renewed and you will love to have this on hand after a long day at work. This is a perfect gift for friends and family this holiday season.
Homemade Gift
I love creating homemade gifts for the holidays. I especially love to give gifts that allows someone to pamper themselves. We all get so busy with everyday life that we forget to take time for ourselves. I am sure we all know people who are just running around all the time. Well, how about making them this beautiful gift box (featured in the Fancy Pants Blog Hop Day #1) and filling it with homemade Peppermint Foot Soak and even attaching a Gift Certificate of Gift Card to get a pedicure?
This gift is the perfect size and allows you to use small mason jars in a different way. This small mason jar holds 4 ounces and is perfect for one serving of Peppermint Foot Soak. The extra touch of pink coming through will add the perfect festive touch to this beautiful handmade gift.
Peppermint Foot Soak
• 1 cup Epsom Salt
• 1 cup Soy Milk Powder
• 2 cups Baking Soda
• 3 tsp. Peppermint Stick Body Safe Fragrance Oil
• Candy Cane
Combine Epsom Salt, Baking Soda, and Soy Milk Powder in a large bowl and mix well. Make sure to break up any clumps. Add Candy Cane in a blender and grind to a powder. You can leave a few pieces in small chunks for the effect. Mix well until you have a soft pink color. Add the Peppermint Stick Fragrance Oil and make sure there aren’t any clumps in the mixture. Pour the mixture into the container and seal tightly. Pour ½ cup into hot water and soak feet.
Please Note: Due to people having different medical conditions and sensitivities, we do not use Essential Oils in our recipes. We find Body Safe Fragrance Oils to be a safer alternative as you might not know of medical conditions the recipient might have and Essential Oils can aggravate or be harmful to their specific condition. Even so, we recommend that you read through all ingredients carefully to ensure the safety of each one for any specific medical conditions or allergies.

Hi Monica
Great idea and like the box too. But I click on the link to get the directions for the box & the directions are not there.
Thanks
What a thoughtful gift and gift box! I may have to try to peppermint foot soak.
I am going to try this. I love peppermint. I use Dr Broner’s peppermint soap all the time and love it. It is my favorite pick me up.
My feet are telling me I should get some of this made for them. I imagine the smell is terrific while you are soaking.
thanks for the idea.
love this idea!
I live in a small town and have no idea of where to find the peppermint stick ingredient. Do you have a mail order supply or is this something simple that Michael’s or JoAnn’s would have. I haven’t had the need to look for such. I think it would be cool to have on hand for on the spur gifts or “just because” before the holidays hit! Thanks in advance.
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for mentioning needing to know where to buy the ingredients. I have gone in and hyperlinked the ingredients to the online store where I purchase all my ingredients. Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

OK, so this foot soak may even be under the tree for the hubby, made with a gift box with a deer on it! Love it!!
This will make some
great gifts for this
year. Thanks for
sharing it.

How delicious!! This sounds good enough to eat! I will definitely be getting the ingredients to make some of this for Christmas and just because gifts!! I am also going to be adding this to my Holiday care packages that I like to give out randomly to friends and family to remind them to take a few minutes of me time so that they don’t burn out during the holiday preparations!
TFS!
